More Left Elevator Work (1/14/10)

1.5 Hours -

This evening, I started by finishing the prep work on the trim access panel reinforcement plate (E-615PP).  Much of the work on this piece was already done, so all that was left was to finish the edges, scuff, clean and prime.

The elevator trim access panel reinforcement plate ready to be primed.

Next, I went back to work on the left elevator skin.  I started by deburring all the holes where the stiffeners will attach.  As usual, this was done with my Avery deburr tool.  Then, I set up my squeezer and squeezed dimples in any holes I could reach.  The remaining holes were dimpled with my c-frame.  Finally, I scuffed, cleaned and primed the inside of the skin.  Nothing too complicated!

Shocking! Another priming picture!
