The other night, my girlfriend helped me move the right main spar/rib assembly from my workbench back to the stand. This allowed me to rivet the aft spar to the assembly tonight. Again, nothing complicated with this, but pay close attention to the rivet callouts in the plans.
Once the aft spar was attached, I started searching for parts in my big box-o-wing-parts. I needed the top, inboard wing skins (W-702) and the sheet aluminum that is used to make the wing walk doublers. Of course, these were at the bottom of the box, so I had to pull out all the other skins first. During my next work session, I’ll cut the wing walk doublers to size and match drill them to the wing skins. After that is done, it will be time to start fitting skins!
