With only a half hour to work on the plane before leaving for dinner, I decided to final drill all of the stiffeners to the tank skins. There are two rows of stiffeners on the bottom side of each tank. Each row has 6 stiffeners (12 total per tank), and there are four different sizes of stiffeners. After attaching and drilling (#40) all of the stiffeners to the tanks, I was careful to number each stiffener and place a corresponding number on the tank skin near where the stiffener is attached. I should be able to get them all back in the right place….but there is no guarantee!
Each tank has two rows of stiffeners on the bottom side of the skin. Twelve stiffeners per tank.
