1.3 Hours -
Basically an hour and a half of filing and deburring tonight. The attach brackets are made from very thick angle stock. Because of this, and their curved shape, they are a bit of a challenge when it comes to finishing the edges. I used a vixen file as best I could, and then polished everything with a Scotchbrite wheel. My finished brackets are by no means works of art, but they’ll get the job done.
I also marked a rivet pattern on the brackets based on the plans. Each angle will attach with six AN470AD4 rivets, so I drilled the holes to #30 after they were marked. These holes on the bracket will also be used as guides for drilling the rib and reinforcement plate.

I made the hole pattern based on the plans. These will be used to drill both the rib and the reinforcement plate.
