The right tank is now ready for assembly…bring on the sealant!
I started off the day by finishing up the deburring on the right tank skin. Once this was completed, I had a lot of holes that needed dimpling. I used my squeezer on any holes that it could reach, but then I had to pull out the c-frame to reach the majority of the holes. Dimpling with the c-frame isn’t difficult, but it takes a lot longer than using the squeezer.
At this point, I need to scuff the rivet lines on the inside of the tank and then clean all the parts. Once that is done, it will be time to finally start riveting the right tank together. Hopefully the sealant cooperates with me!
