I’m still working on the hardware inventory for the fuselage. The good news is that I only have 3 bags left to sort/count. The bad news is that I ran out of bins in my hardware organizer, and my new one doesn’t arrive until tomorrow. For now, I’ve got the labels made for a bunch of stuff, so it will be quick to toss them in bins once I have the space. Once the inventory is done, I also want to try to reorganize my storage bins a bit. It would be much easier to find things if I had all the rivets in one section, the bolts in another, etc.
I've been using these Stack-On storage bins for hardware organization/storage. Another of the smaller gray ones should arrive tomorrow and allow me to store the rest of the fuselage hardware.
On another note… After double checking a few times, I’ve decided that I’m missing a part. As near as I can tell, it’s just a small piece of aluminum bar. The part ID is AB4-125 x 1-1/2 x 8. I’m going to look it up in the plans and on Van’s site to see if it is something I need to ask them to send me or if it is just something I can make.
